Actress Jennifer Lawrence is a superhero on and off screen. The actress took a break from filming Bryan Singer's X- men: Apocalypse set in Montreal to visit and surprise the patients and staff at the local Shriners Hospital for Children.

One of Hollywood's finest actresses may be in a working mode, filming X-Men: Apocalypse. But that won't stop her from visiting sick kids who are in need of attention. The Oscar-winning actress visited Montreal's Shriners Hospital for Children late last week where she quickly brought smiles to a few sick children and even the staffs of the hospital.

The non- profit hospital, then added on its Facebook homepage, saying, "A very special visitor stopped by our Canada hospital today," the hospital wrote. "Jennifer Lawrence is in Montreal filming a new movie and she made time to visit some of our ‪#‎ShrinersCanada kids and staff. Everyone had a great time!"

"You never know who might visit @ShrinersCanada," the hospital also posted on their Twitter account, sharing more photos of Lawrence interacting with the patients.

In one snap shot, Lawrence signed a little boy's red cast, while in another shot, the X- men superhero bent down next to a boy using a walker.

Lawrence seemed to be super thrilled to pose for photos with staff members, nurses and the kids,. She was having fun interacting with everyone she encountered in the hospital.

The random act of compassion and kindness comes shortly after the JLaw had a great time in a all-star trip with Amy Schumer and her friends in Hampton two weeks ago.

"Jennifer and I have become friends. I was like, 'Oh, we're going on a boat tour tomorrow. You should come.'" Schumer recently shared on The Daily Show. "And she was like, 'I think I'm coming!' I was like, 'Oh, my God!'"

Schumer continued praising the "Hunger Games" actress, "She's the coolest chick you'll ever meet. She's beautiful."

Sure enough, many JLaw fans were touched by Lawrence's act of kindness to the sick children of Shriner's Hospital. The online community even thinks that she's much more beautiful than she's ever been before, now that she's reaching out to the needy and she's making quite a step to make a difference in the Entertainment industry.
