Wendy Williams took a nasty fall off stage Saturday during her "The Sit Down Tour... Too Real For Standup" comedy show at the Hobby Center in Houston. Unfortunately, instead of showing concern about the recent fall, onliners kept on mocking the comedian.
Williams revealed that she misjudged the stage's length during the show and took a fall to the ground after missing a step. Wendy William's stage fall was caught on camera by a concert- goer who shared the video with the whole online world.
On the other hand, according to Huffpost Entertainment, William's bounced right back up just after the stage fall with a smile plastered on her face. As soon as a security guard helped her to get up, she immediately posed for the audience. She even took time to utter a joke on her lips, stating, "Every stage is different. I didn't see that s--t", Williams said.
Unfortunately, for Williams, it doesn't appear that people are concerned about her situation after the fall as most of the social media followers are mocking her, just like how she mocked other celebrities like Madonna during their fall incident. According to Dallas Black, Wendy Williams is getting a taste of her own medicine. "Can we be petty and chalk this up to being Karma? We have a feeling this won't make the HOT TOPICS segment of her show tomorrow!"
Brian Sporman also posted on his Twitter account, saying, "Wendy Williams fell off stage lmao!! Karma for all ur hate on people."
Wendy Williams is not the first celebrity, nor the last to take an embarrassing stage fall. The list is continuously expanding and this includes Garth Brooks, Dave Grohl, Ariana Grande and Madonna. Williams was not physically hurt during the fall, but it does appear that she is taking some severe mocking on the social media over her stumble.
Sadly, the online world is now eagerly waiting to see how Wendy Williams will react on her daytime talk show when she decides to discuss about her stage fall on her Hot Topics section. Some critics also look forward to comedian's reaction on the nasty comments thrown into her.
