U.S. Presidential candidate and business mogul Donald Trump faces controversy anew. This after making remarks such as "blood coming out of her-whatever" addressed to Fox News anchor and debate moderator Megyn Kelly. Still, Trump stands firm that there is nothing to apologize for his comment. He clarified that he was not pertaining to menstruation.
International Business Times reports that during a Presidential debate on Thursday night at Fox News, Donald Trump was asked by one of its hosts Megyn Kelly wherein he describes the question as "unnecessarily tough". One of the questions thrown to him was about Trump insulting women as "fat pigs and dogs".
On a separate interview with CNN, Trump expressed his experience during the debate saying, "You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her -wherever", pertaining to Kelly.
After his statement caused an uproar, Trump on Sunday morning clarified during political talk shows that he was not referring to menstruation when he said "blood coming out of her wherever". Trump is firm that his statement need not an apology because he meant blood coming from her ears and nose. Trump added that only "sick and deviant" people would think he was referring to "menstruation".
Today News adds, Trump said he did not finish his sentence because he wanted to go on to the next point. He defended himself saying "blood coming from her ears, nose" was a common statement.
CNN meanwhile says that according to Trump, it should actually be Kelly who should apologize for him. Trump stressed that he still has a lot of support from Republican voters which means he does not need to change anything.
Megyn Kelly meanwhile did not directly answer Donald Trump's attacks on her but stated that she will not apologize to him and will rather continue to do her job without fear or favor.
