Upcoming Dying Light DLC Adds New Vehicles, Area, and More

By

Just a couple of weeks ago, Techland has just released a video in Dying Light's YouTube channel on what the developer has added up to its game. By the half of 2015, Dying Light's game developer has already added new weapons, outfits, and a game mode amongst other features. All these had been shown at the video trailer, showing all the updates within the game that happened in a span of six months.

The video reveals what the upcoming DLC is all about. In its closing shot, it shows a teaser on drivable dune buggies. As cited in Game Informer, the next installment of the game series will be called Dying Light: The Following, and it will feature these all-terrain vehicles. Quoting Dying Light's producer, Tymon Smektala, the said DLC will add "a number of bold game changers to create one massive expansion." Smektala also adds that the map size in Dying Light: The Following is equals the size of all the previous maps combined in the series.

In an article posted by Kotaku, the details of the expansion pack was further described, and mentioned the inclusion of a new story mode and these new vehicles. Instead of referring to the pack as a DLC, it was referred to as an "expansion pack" as they offer meaty content for the players. The first screenshots of the DLC were also shared on the said page.

From the looks of the screenshots, players will be able to drive the dune buggies, and will be able to lean out the top of the said vehicles to shoot at the villains. There aren't any prices revealed yet on the expansion pack, but Deal Spwn gives us the prices of the video game. It is available at £21.99 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Those who have purchased Dying Light and have a Season Pass will have access to this expansion pack. What's more is that this can also be bought separately by the gamers.
