A list of devices scheduled for release was accidentally posted by Costco's website. The leaked list suggests that Costo seems to be preparing to sell Verizon versions of Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, and Motorola Droid Turbo 2.
According to Sentinel Republic, the good news came after the Droid Turbo 2 from Verizon Wireless has been announced to be released instead of the Moto X Play. The site also reports that the Moto Droid 2 seems to be having a similar back of the Moto X Play which is made of the same soft-touch material for easy grip. The Motorola DROID Turbo that has been reportedly released as the Motorola Moto Maxx outside the United States has been reported for being exclusive to Verizon Wireless as well.
Furthermore, this upcoming Moto Droid 2 will reportedly feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB or 64GB of storages on-board.
On the other hand, the alleged flagships from the South Korean giant, Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, which is yet-to-be-announced, are already well-leaked online. Both devices full specification sheets have been reportedly disclosed before the Samsung's forthcoming unpacked event on Aug. 13 where the two flagships will be officially announced.
The Galaxy Note 5 will reportedly sport a 5.7-inch quad-HD Super AMOLED display while the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will come in 5.5-inch dual-edge display. The smartphone flagships are anticipated to run on the pre-installed Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It will reportedly not include a user-replaceable battery and microSD card slot for memory expansion, like the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, Sentinel Republic wrote.
Whereas, the IBtimes reported that an octa-core Samsung Exynos 7420 SoC and with 4GB of RAM will be equipped for both smartphones.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge are also expected to arrive built with the new metal and glass design of the existing flagship smartphones. As of today, the tech giants have not yet passed any confirmation about the release particulars and speculated specifications stated above.
