One Direction's Directioners and T-ARA's Queens just recently reached their boiling points. T-ARA pulled ahead of One Direction in the semifinal stage of Billboard's 'Fan Army Face Off' competition. And now, Directioners were accusing Queens of cheating just to get T-ARA more votes.
Billboard is looking for the top artist fan base and started on the "Fan Army Face Off" poll on their website to find out which group is the strongest.
Fandoms meeting up in the semifinal bracket were from the K-Pop group T-ARA and One Direction fans. The latter group was behind with 849,648 semis votes (1,642,534 total votes) and the T-ARA's Queens was ahead with 1,153,002 semis votes (2,434,110 total votes), according to Koreaboo.
Because of the big difference in votes, Directioners were not thrilled with the results and the fandom even accused QUEEN'S of cheating.
One Direction fans had even gone as far as writing for Billboard, alleging that T-ARA fans are using automated programs and hacking methods in order to register more votes.
"I regret to inform you that your 'Fan Army Face-Off' was hacked and auto voting for #queens was placed. The fandom queens tweeted about having hacked Billboard by using Autobots to vote", stated the letter from a One Direction fan which was posted on Twitter.
To show their support to T-ARA, T-ARA fans called Queens really insisted that the all- girl group basically has a large, wide- range and very active fandom. They also emphasized that One Direction fans just cannot accept defeat and the fact that the K-Pop group has gone international.
Billboard had pitted Queens from other K-Pop fandoms. They had also clashed other fandoms from international artists like Beyonce and 5 Seconds of Summer since July. This is to rank all of the fandom armies and declare which one is the "strongest", as claimed by KpopStarz.
Although all of the artists' fandoms had shown their support to their idols, the competition will only have one winner. The winner of the One Direction versus T-ARA semifinal bout will have their face-off against the fan base of either Beyonce or 5 Seconds of Summer.
