Battefield Hardline Robbery DLC OUT Next Month; NEW Maps, Squad Heist with 3 Distinct Stages, Arsenal Weapons, and MORE Added

By

Publisher Eletronic Arts alongside Visceral Games have announced that Battlefield: Hardline fans will be getting their hands on the latest Robbery DLC this coming September with a handful of exciting additions to the game including the new Squad Heist game mode, maps, weapons and more.

Via the game's official website, it has been revealed that Battlefield: Hardline Robbery DLC will contain 4 new weapons to the game's arsenal with the addition of two new gadgets, some vehicle upgrades and new maps.

IB Times reports that the trailer showcased at Gamescom 2015 last week has revealed a total of 11 new weapons to be possibly added which include assault rifles such as F2000, MDC, Famas and RPK, an FN57 handgun, a Scorpion (CZ 3A1) PDW, a Barrett M82.50 Cal Semi-Auto sniper rifle, a Saiga 12 shotgun, an M1 Carbine, an MP7 PDW and a throwing knife.

Other than these new weapons, the Robbery DLC will also feature a new Squad Heist game mode as a tribute to Battlefield 4's Squad Rush, as shared by Visceral Games. This game mode will have three distinct stages where the first two require criminals to get some loot inside a vault and the last stage will see them get away from the scene.

Aside from the upcoming expansion, Tech Times also noted that Battlefield: Hardline expects two additional DLC namely, Gateway which is set to arrive before end of 2015 and Betrayal pack that could become available in early 2016. All these upcoming expansion packs are part of the game's season pass where players need to shell out $40.

The Robbery DLC is expected to release sometime in September that will not just add heists to Battlefield: Hardline but add more maps and other exciting items to Xbox One, PS4, and PC platforms. The Gateway will be launched next before year-end and finally, Betrayal DLC becomes available early 2016.
