Gamescom featured the multi-server open-world shooter Crackdown 3 last week. Players that were able to get their hands on the new ReAgent game were very enthusiastic with the results and moreover, further details were reported during the said event.
Putting aside the destructive nature that the game wishes to convey, another factor that makes the game utterly interesting is the addition of certain items that gives players an upper hand, which was introduced back in Crackdown 2. According to Twinfinite, Dave Jones, the Game Director, gave a small present to the fans which will certainly pique a vast amount of interest.
From given facts reported by Game Informer, the characters move further up in terms of progress through their performance; basically skills for kills. One factor that separates a player from the other is the difference in agility. In order to increase the said trait, multiple orbs that have been disseminated throughout the city should be captured by the said players.
In an interesting twist, the players must collect the mobile orbs before they disappear. The irritating fact about the said orbs would be their movement, as they tend to move away from their point of emergence.
As this mechanic may be a nifty trait for the game to have, Jones affirms that it is, indeed, too much of an obstructions towards the true fun of the game. As delivered by Segment Next, Jones clarified, "No, they're not going to be back. I'm not going to do that. I was an interesting try, but for me, no, they will be static."
Microsoft also made an interesting announcement regarding a returning variable to the franchise, the voice of the recently mentioned agency director, Michael D. McConnohie. Microsoft's Peter Connolly said that Mr. McConnohie absolutely likes to working on the title, and is a great deal to have him again.
The Crackdown 3 changes may perhaps be one of the things to look forward to for all fans. However, there may be a few handful of them who would prefer the old method of acquiring the orbs to make the game even more interesting.
