Gotham Season 2 updates have been released teasing fans on the strange new circus at the same time promises to give massive carnage. The latest trailer reveals spotlight on Penguin.
Comic Book gives the latest news of Gotham Season 2. It says that the a different kind of circus is heading its way to Gotham City. But this tease is somehow vague though fans could get the hints considering the forthcoming "pieces of Batman lore."
One of these common knowledge that we know about Batman and Gotham City is Haly's Circus. Before Dick Grayson a.k.a Robin has become Batman's sidekick, Haly's Circus has been his home with his family (The Flying Graysons). Based on reports, Gotham Season 2 might be showing more of the first home of Robin.
The other circus that Fox might be referring to is the Circus of Strange. This could be a lot strange than any other circus since it is a criminal group of Professor Pyg. Gotham's description of the professor is a "mad doctor than a deranged circus leader." The possibility of Prof. Pyg to head Gotham is a fat chance since the goal of the next season of this TV series is all about the all the villains surfacing in the city.
The rising of the villains in season 2 of Gotham truly promise a massive carnage in a sense. There is always a destruction and killing when these types of villains come out. Zap2it says that this info has been revealed by the producers during the Comic-Con. Danny Cannon and Bruno Heller have said that fans have not seen the last of Jerome in season 1. His character will evolve and has being nod to The Joker. So while he is being locked up in Arkham Asylum, he would still become the Gotham's most notorious villain in the future. Jerome is bound to create havoc all over the city. "He causes massive amounts of carnage. You see exactly how dangerous a personality like his could possibly be," Monaghan explained in his interview with Zap2it.
On a different note, International Business Times reports that as the upcoming season will focus on the rise of the villains, the latest trailer has put the spotlight on Penguin. Oswald Cobblepot would evolve as Penguin in the new season of this show. His character left off season 1 feeling triumphant and declaring himself as the king of the city. In this new coming season, Oswald Cobblepot would evolve his character even more, which fans would be anticipating.
Gotham Season 2 would be a lot exciting considering these updates. The Series is scheduled to air on Sept. 21 on Fox.
