Arc Entertainment has finally acquired the US rights to the upcoming film, Chloe and Theo. A new release date has also been slated for the film that stars "Fifty Shades of Grey" star Dakota Johnson, and new comer Theo Ikkumaq.
As reported by The Wrap, ARC Entertainment head of Acquisition, Scott Moesta, recently revealed that they have acquired the Global Warming themed movie which will be released in theaters across United States, and also in VOD.
According to Deadline, the movie stars "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress, Dakota Johnson, along with Larry King, Mira Sorvino, and Theo Ikkumaq. It was written and directed by Ezna Sands, and produced by Monica Ord who also executive produced the movie along with Virgin Group founder, Richard Branson, and Patron and Paul Mitchell founder, John Paul Dejoria.
As reported by Variety, Moesta shared that they are excited to release the film in theaters and VOD. "'Chloe & Theo' is a very powerful, heartwarming story with stellar performances from Dakota Johnson and Mira Sorvino," Moesta said. "We are absolutely thrilled to be distributing this film on the bigscreen and various platforms for fans across the U.S. to enjoy." He added.
The upcoming movie centers on the Inuit man from Arctic, Theo, who travels to New York to warn the leaders about the dangerous effects of Global Warming to our planet. Upon arriving in the busy city, he meets a homeless girl, named Chloe, who has an unusual vigor towards life. She is mildly delusional, and obsessed with Bruce Lee. Together, the unusual pair, saves the world.
ARC Entertainment's Chloe and Theo is set to be released in theaters, as well as in VOD in September 04, 2015. More details about the movie are expected as it approach its release a couple of weeks from now.
