Gaming fans are now consoled by the little piece of information given by the developers of the new Mass Effect, as they were a no-show at the EA's gaming booth during the Gamescom this year. Chris Wynn, the senior development director of Bioware, made up for their absence during the convention and obliged to reply to the fans' tweets.
It might be unfortunate to know that there won't be any familiar faces in Mass Effect Andromeda. When asked this question by a fan in Twitter, Wynn straightforwardly said, "story wise, it wouldn't make much sense." So, the return of Commander Shepard in Mass Effect 4 is elusive.
The premise of the new story happens "far away and long after" the events which had taken place in Mass Effect 3. This would make Wynn's response sensible, but his followers seemed to reason out and remind him that asari species have millennium life spans.
But Chris Wynn is proud to say that they had been developing a new graphics engine, from scratch. He explained that this is "partly why we (they) need so much time on this one." And this is so that they can deliver new and exciting gameplay and visuals. This decision by the game's developer is also sensible, as they would like to capitalize on the ever improving PS and Xbox consoles.
As to the game's leveling system, iDigitalTimes reports that Mass Effect Andromeda will be "replacing the systems (we have) seen in previous Mass effect games." This came from another thread of tweets from one of the producers of the game at Bioware, Michael Gamble.
Gamble replied to a fan who was aching for details regarding the leveling system of the game; his exact response was, "actually the system itself is quite incredible." But that's about it, as other details will be shared soon. As to the title of the gaming series, obviously, Bioware had learned a lesson in crafting one.
The Mass Effect: Andromeda release date will be on the Holiday 2016.
