Former One Direction member Zayn Malik has been linked to the Jenner sisters since his breakup with Perrie Edwards a few weeks ago. Twitter followers of the now solo artist were super surprised when he followed Selena Gomez on Twitter. On the other hand, Cody Simpson and Nick Jonas were reported to be still just friends with SelGo.

During Selena's August 14 interview with Scott Mills and Chris Stark on BBC Radio 1's Breakfast Show, Selena talked about Zayn Malik's sudden social media interest of her. Malik started following Selena Gomez on Twitter shortly after his breakup with ex- fiance' Perrie Edwards.

The Directioners wondered if the newly single and former boy band singer is now looking for romance with the "Love You Like A Love Song" singer. Selena opened up on her famous new follower and revealed if she would also follow him back.

"How does it feel to be followed by Zayn Malik on Twitter. He just started following you," Stark asked the singer. Gomez mentioned that she was actually unaware that the former 1 D member followed her until someone asked her.

"I had no idea what that was until somebody else asked me," stated Gomez. She also added that it was no big thing that he followed her since she have known Malik. But also she thanked Malik for clicking the follow button on Twitter by saying, "Thanks for the follow, Zayn!"

Malik has been said to be flirting with women online, these women include Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner. When fans saw that he started following SelGo, they eventually started the dating rumors of "Zaylena."

Fans claimed that they wouldn't make the following situation if Malik and Gomez didn't start about two years ago that they would love to kiss each other. Rumors also fired up when Perrie Edwards and her group Little Mix recently appeared to promote Justin Bieber's "What Do You Mean" and Biebs posted a promotional pic of the group for his new music on Instagram.

Although, SelGo was linked to Nick Jonas and Cody Simpson, she claims that both guys are just her friends. In fact, Jonas told Capital FM's Max Akhtar they were just catching up and they are just good friends. Simpson also gave his comment on Yahoo Style, "I'm not dating anyone. I haven't moved on to another celebrity girlfriend."

Meanwhile both hosts in Selena's recent interviews were curious if the singer decided to follow Malik back. She actually has no idea if she already started following the young solo musician. "Did I?" she asked. "I don't know. I don't think I did. But I will right now. It's on my phone. I should do it."

While the two famous artists, Selena Gomez and Zayn Malik are now starting to be linked up with each other, fans are shipping both of them. On the other hand, Malik hasn't really come out to comment about the flirting and dating issues with Selena Gomez.
