"iZombie" Season 1 had a lot of cliffhangers and according to new reports, Season 2 will be answering the unanswered questions such as Major and Liv having a relationship. It was also previously reported that Peyton will be coming back in the show's upcoming season but Liv will be having a new best friend.
Liv's secret was exposed in "iZombie" Season 1 finale and it remains to be unknown if Major, played by Robert Buckley, will accept her and her state. In a report by Design & Trend, executive producer of the show, Diane Ruggiero-Wright, said in a statement that the romance between Liv and Major might just be possible. She shared that she thinks that there is potential for these two and she knows that there is hope for their blooming romance. However, she pointed out that Major will be very pissed with Liv for the show's first episodes of season 2.
The Executive producer also dished that Liv will be much different this coming season 2 as she has to defend herself from the people who knew about her secret of being a zombie. For Season 2, the pressure for Liv is to define her relationships with people as compared to season 1's pressure of just solving crimes, Hollywood Life reported.
It was also dished that Blaine becoming a human will not change him entirely as he will still continue with his business. However, he will be seen eating a lot of good human food. Ruggiero-Wright added that he will still be this baddie as the dark side of being a zombie has provided him with opportunities he did not have before when he was still a human.
In a previous report, it was revealed that Peyton will be coming back for Season 2 but Liv will be having a new BFF. It remains to be unknown what Liv and Peyton's relationship will be for the show's upcoming episodes.
New faces will also be seen in "iZombie" Season 2 including Robert Nepper of "Prison Break" as he will play the role of Blaine's father.
"iZombie" season 2 will return to the small screen on October 6 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
