Samsung G2 may soon be coming to the nearest store shelves as the company released a video teaser of the said device. This happened on August 13 along with the launch of its new smartphones. The video teaser showed the smartwatch's round face and variant feature for sexes. More details of the new G2 smartwatch will be announced on September 3 in Berlin.

The teaser video was exactly shown after the media event at New York's Lincoln Centre, CNET noted. In the video, it showed a round device which is believed to entice people to buy as soon as the wearable becomes available.

SamMobile also said that the G2 will include a variant for sexes according to the video. G2 for women will look small and thinner and G2 for men will look larger and a bit thicker.

Other features were cited in Trusted Reviews. G2 will run on Samsung's Tizen OS instead of Android Wear. Tizen OS will offer more applications such as heart rate monitor, Nike + running apps and smartphone notifications. The smartwatch will also come with a rotating nozel that will allow the user to scroll through contents.

Moreover, report added that the smartwatch will be powered by 1.2GHz Exynos 372 dual-core processor with 768MB of RAM, storage of 4GB, and 250mAh battery.

The video was unexpected but the complete details of Samsung G2 will be revealed in an event in Berlin for IFA trade show on September 3, according to CNET.

On the other hand, Samsung introduced its wearable smartwatch in late 2013 and with yearly innovations. The Gear devices made the company the world's biggest smartwatch vendor in 2014, according to CNET. The market changed when Apple released its own wearable that made $349 to$17,000.

The smartphone company would like to refocus over smartwatch sale through the upcoming of G2 to gain popularity on wearable devices again.
