Rapper Iggy Azalea displayed her rumored $500,000 engagement ring as she jetted out of LAX with her fiance' Nick Young. Azalea was reportedly keen to show her soon to be husband to her hometown in northern New South Wales.
Azalea was photographed as she made her way through LAX airport on Sunday with her NBA player beau Nick Young. And Azalea just touched down in Australia yesterday. For the first time since making it big with her debut album "The New Classic", the rapper finally headed to her native land..
Earlier this month, the Mullumbimby- born rap superstar said that she was looking forward to the visit and wrote on Instagram: "Getting excited about visiting Australia for @bondsaus!!"
As reported by Dailymail UK, Azalea is certainly looking excited ahead of her much- awaited homecoming. Flashing her ring and her wide smile, the "Fancy" rapper was spotted sharing a laugh with her NBA player fiancé' as she made her way through LAX airport.
Iggy announced her engagement in June, as she posted snaps after the LA Lakers player asked her the "Will You Marry Me?" question in his 30th birthday party. Young then showed off the $500,000 ring to the "Black Widow" rapper.
It featured a 8.15 carat Fancy Intense Yellow cushion cut center stone with 2.28 carats of white diamonds set in 18 carat white gold on the spot. Jason Arasheben, CEO of jewelers Jason of Beverly Hills told Mirror UK, "Nick was very involved in designing the ring. We wanted it to be both a ring of Iggy's dreams and a ring that fit her personal style."
The Australian rapper, who grew up as Amethyst Amelia Kelly from Mullumbimby, New South Wales, will bring her fiance' home for his first visit to Australia. Reports also claim that her NBA star fiance' will be meeting all of Azalea's family members. In fact, he already has a lunch date planned with her grandmother.
On the flip- side, Azalea is the new ambassadress for the underwear label Bonds' 100th Birthday Celebrations. She will also be attending a select few events while in the country.
An appearance alongside Home And Away's Samara Weaving and popular radio duo Hamish Blake. In addition, Andy Lee on Wednesday will be Azalea's top priority of Sydney's social set.
