Rock Band 4 Release Date: Rock legends Val Halen confirmed to join list; Hit song "Panama" highly anticipated by fans

Rock Band 4 is bound to be released later within the year. However, Harmonix refuses to simply just let the game be in public without making the best out of it; and as of today, a powerhouse of the rock scene has officially went upstage.

As recently announced, Rock Band 4 will finally have, for the first time in the franchise, rock music icons Val Halen in the roster. According to Cinema Blend, the band's famous song "Panama" is confirmed of being on the list of songs in the upcoming game. But the said song will not be the only one in the series, as other songs of the band are declared to also be enlisted in the game's lineup.

Fans and critics alike have compared Rock Band 4 to the long-time opposition in terms of franchise genre, Guitar Hero Live. The Guitar Hero Van Halen released previously was supposedly a promotional game included upon purchase of Guitar Hero 5, although the reception towards the game did not resound very positively. The inclusion of Van Halen in the all-star cast of the game, as recently delivered by Destructoid, is surely one that has both surprised many, and on the other hand, predicted or called by others.

According to iDigital Times, Aerosmith's Toys in the Attic, Disturbed's Prayer, System of a Down's Spiders, Fall Out Boy's Centuries, Paramore's Still Into You, Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars' Uptown Funk and many others will be included in the already powerful lineup of songs that Rock Band 4 already has. As peculiar as it may seem, Val Halen, being not entirely active as of the moment, was still a primary choice to be included in the franchise.

Due for an October release, Rock Band 4 certainly has surprises up its sleeves that will Harmonix's legendary titles be more memorable as they are. Stay tuned for more updates on Rock Band 4.
