Heroes of the Storm is bound to join the first ever tournament at the rage expo that will be held on October this year. The MOBA free-to-play by Blizzard has been ultimately successful in other countries that it has encountered.
According to Lazy Gamer, Energy eSports confirmed that they plan on signing in their own Heroes of the Storm team. More interestingly, NAG announced as well that a Heroes of the Storm tournament will take place this year with an awesome prize money totaling to R60,000 for rAge. Game Arena will host the said tournament, along with Gigabyte, Rectron and Megarom.
In order to participate, players are must be equipped with 10 heroes minimum. As mentioned, the tournament prize money will have the sum of R60,000; the third placer getting R10,000, second having R20,000 and the winner to get R30,000.
Heroes of the Storm has proven to be an immensely interactive game on multiple levels. As reported by MMO Site, approximately 10 million treasure goblins were extinguished during a recent task expansion by the franchise. This is one apparent proof that the game has already reached an intense amount of patronage, presumably scaling to millions to date.
The upcoming rAge event for Heroes of the Storm is one for the "heroes" to look out for. With only months to go, the avid gamers can start working on the prerequisites to join the said tournament.
