Ed Boon teases fans with more hints On Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack 2 as he recently dropped an image on his Twitter account bearing a hashtag #IfThereIsAKombatPack2. Also, a first ever tutorial video for newbies has been released online dedicated to teach the basics of the brawler game to beginners.
It appears that Kombat Pack 2 for Mortal Kombat X is now certain to arrive, although, the debate that's going on among the fans is who will fill the roster of the next Kombatants. Rumors have it that the non-playable characters from the story mode of Mortal Kombat X like Rain, Sindel, and Baraka are going to be the next on the list.
Meanwhile, a first in a series of tutorial videos dedicated to teach the basics of Mortal Kombat X to newbies has been recently released online. While it appears that it is already long delayed since the game has been out five months ago, it will still be useful for the beginners.
Shoryuken reports that Razer's Carl 'Perfect Legend' White released the first video where he breaks down how frame advantage works and how it can be useful into decision making for both in offense and defense moves. Shoryuken added that Carl himself has become synonymous with Kung Lao and the examples that were introduced "tie directly to the bearer of the bladed hat" but these are also applicable when using different characters.
With regard to the long-awaited release of Mortal Kombat X to PS3 and Xbox 360, creative director Ed Boon tweeted recently the status of development for the game's last gen version. Boon replied that an "update [is] coming soon," when a fan quipped that he's forgetting something.
While there is no specific date given, it is still a relief for fans owning PS3 and Xbox 360 to know that High Voltage Software is giving full attention developing a version of the game for the last gen consoles.
The game's version for the old-gen consoles seem to be long overdue since fans were hoping that PS3 and Xbox 360 version will also be released alongside the PS4 and Xbox One last April. Design & Trend reports that lots of questions have been asked because the scaled down builds were clearly associated with the project back at Sony's E3 conference last year.
Mortal Kombat X, published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, is currently available for PS4, Xbox One and mobile devices and anticipated to release soon on PS3 as well as Xbox 360..
