Lil Wayne’s “Lil Weezyana Fest” Airing in Exclusively in Tidal on August 28

Lil Wayne's "Lil Weezyana Fest" will be exclusively streamed through Jay Z's music streaming Tidal on August 28. The festival will be held in Weezy's hometown New Orleans, where he will be collaborating with 90s Hot Boys- Juvenile, B.G., and Turk. It seems B.G. will not be appearing as he is presently serving a jail sentence. He will be replaced by Mannie Fresh instead in the group's collaboration.

The news comes on the heels after the "Sorry 4 the Wait" rapper signed a deal as an "artist owner" with music mogul Jay Z, according to The Urban Daily. TIDAL's Chief Investment Officer Vania Schlogel released the news in a press conference.

"We're honored for Lil Wayne to join TIDAL," said Schlogel in a press release. "His eagerness to release an exclusive TIDAL track and schedule a TIDAL X performance is just another example of how passionately artists care about getting their music to fans," according to Consequence of Sound.

Earlier, Birdman filed lawsuit to TIDAL for streaming Free Weezy Album. Birdman alleged that TIDAL doesn't have the rights to stream the 32-year-old rapper's music as he is still in contract with Cash Money Records. But with Wayne's new stint, it seems that the rift between the two music moguls are set aside for the mean time.

Lil Wayne's "Lil Weezyana Fest" is an event that will mark the rapper's reunion with the Hot Boys. The event will benefit Hurricane Katrina victims, which hit New Orleans 10 years ago. Apart from the upcoming New Orleans gig, Weezy's fans can also watch the rapper performing at the Billboard Music Hot 100 Fest on August 23.

The fest "Morris Bart Presents Lil WeezyAna Fest: Lil Wayne and Friends," will be associated with Bold Sphere Music at Champions Square in New Orleans. Tickets for the concert can be pre-ordered at Eventbrite or Ticketmaster which are priced at $20 for general admission and $40 for V.I.P.
