Tom Holland's Spiderman Will Debut In "Captain America: Civil War" Siding With Iron Man

'Spiderman" is set for another reboot slated for release in 2017 starring Tom Holland. However, fans need not wait for 2017 before they can see Peter Parker as spoilers reveal that "Spiderman" will make his debut in the forthcoming movie "Captain America: Civil War" slated on May 6, 2016.

While it has been reported that Spidey is only expected to cameo, it appears now that his presence in "Captain America: Civil War" will be much more noteworthy. Many of Spidey's key scenes have already been filmed in Atlanta, Georgia, one of which is a sequence shot in Peter Parker's bedroom. With rumors going around, he is going to be on screen long enough with several costumes prepared for the hero.

Spiderman will not just swing across the screen and drop a couple one-liners, but he will have a pretty key role in the face-off between Captain American and Iron Man.

Reportedly new Spiderman star Tom Holland is in Germany to film some more scenes as Spiderman. He is specifically there to film a showdown between himself and Chris Evans' Captain America. In the original Civil War story, Spiderman started off siding with Iron Man during the conflict, but after learning about the pro-registration side's darker secrets, he joined Captain America's underground resistance.

Spiderman may be on the action, but it is improbable that he will get as much focus. Fans need to wait for his solo film to hit the theaters the following year, to delve deep into his personal life. Film writers Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley revealed that this reboot will not feature Uncle Ben being killed off again. The story will not feature the origin and will not be like its past adaptations. It will focus more on Peter Parker being an actual kid as played by 19 year old Tom Holland.

Jon Watts, film director of the movie stated: "He (Holland) can be a real high school student. That's why people love Spiderman. He's the most grounded, relatable superheroes. And Tom can really do that. He captures that. He can do a standing back flip. He's perfect."

Tom Holland, the world's next Spiderman, has also recently joined Charlie Hunnam and Robert Pattinson in "The Lost City of Z."
