The critcally acclaimed developer Rockstar Games has confirmed that GTA 5's next update will be adding Rockstar Editor for Xbox One and PS4 consoles. Meanwhile, the latest reveals on the highly speculated GTA 6 indicate the game's new worlds will include Las Vegas, Miami, and New York.
According to GameSpot's latest report, the game developer has announced that GTA 5 next update will add Rockstar Editor to PS4 and Xbox One versions. First released for PC in April this year, this feature will include Director Mode with machinima's creation capabilities and enable gamers to record, edit and share videos.
It also brings a set of tools such as filters and camera modes, audio tweaks, as well as GTA online customization items and more. This news was officialy revealed at the end of blog post which announced the winner of the Ill Gotten Gains Rockstar Editor Contest.
"The upcoming launch of the Rockstar Editor for PS4 and Xbox One as the next update to Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online means the next Rockstar Editor contest will be the first one with entries across all three platforms," the announcement reads.
Meanwhile, IB Times wrote that GTA 5 Online upcoming DLC would feature Lowrider cars which was tipped by prolific tipster in earlier reports. The hardcore game aficionado also teased game fans what to expect from GTA 6 game. According to Dom, the next title to the massively popular franchise will be taking three famous world locations, namely - Las Vegas, Miami, or New York. Other rumours that are circulating online, however, suggest that there's a chance the latest game could span across all US cities.
Take-Two has revealed earlier that more than 54 Million copies of GTA 5 from Rockstar Games has been shipped worldwide which has further proved the game's massive success to date. This remarkable milestone could call for the release of GTA 6 to happen around 2018, based on speculation from several game pundits.
