Quantum Break: Time-stopping game based from series proves being a good idea; Hollywood stars give characters their own touches

The trend of bullet time and slow motion action sequences is to be amped up by the upcoming RPG, Quantum Break. Developer Remedy Entertainment is determined to make the game defy the usual expectations from a series-turned-game cliché, and with the help of a superhero-portraying celebrity, the game is to sky-rocket way higher from where it stands.

As reported by Inverse, Quantum Break is essentially a decision-based open world role-playing game that can be defined as part game, part live-action digital series. Since the sudden announcement of the game roughly two years ago which was 2013, there has been a massive amount of doubt that has surrounded the game based off a TV show, and many of them being the journalists and the experienced gamers alike.

According to Red Bull, the fact that the television show was attempted to be turned into a game gives off an unusual feel to both the audiences and the gaming fans. However, Defiance, in comparison, was a one factor that shows itself to be quite successful enough to tolerate. Two years after the said idea was thought of to be slightly ridiculous, the game has now leaned towards proceeding to the public.

An interesting factor of the game includes the 22-minute episodes distributed along the way throughout the missions. The decisions that a player makes will determine what the outcome of the game will be, and it will further affect the results as the gamer progresses.

On a different note, as recently delivered by IB Times, the game was a given a new cover for its release next year, in the form of X-Men star Shawn Ashmore, better known as Iceman. It was unfolded during the Gamescom 2015 event, and is the confirmed game protagonist in the story. Other notable stars of the game include Dominic Monaghan of The Lord of the Rings, as well as the X-Men Origins: Wolverine Film, and Lance Reddick of the TV series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

The star-studded lineup of Quantum Break may be enough to take them to the top spot, but the in-game features that makes the game very intense and at the same time tactical is one to look out for, as it is slated for release on April of 2016.
