"Supernatural" lead actor Misha Collins was reportedly the victim of a mugging of three unknown men. Reports claimed that the actor was allegedly beaten and robbed before attending a fan convention over the weekend. Following the reports, his fans showed off their support for the actor on their Twitter posts.

Collins' co-star Jim Beaver confirmed the news in his Facebook post. Later on, the actor deleted the post, stating, "My buddy and Supernatural colleague Misha Collins was followed out of a restaurant in Minneapolis by three men last night and beaten and robbed," Beaver wrote. "He's all right, more or less, with some stitches and a fat lip." Beaver added, "He's going on with his photo ops at the Supernatural convention he's attending this weekend...I hope this clears things up a bit for those who've been inquiring.

According to Metro UK, the 41- year old actor was in Minneapolis on Friday evening for Creation Entertainment's Supernatural Convention. He reportedly was tracked out after dining out in a restaurant in Minneapolis by three men. And the actor was badly beaten and robbed causing him stitches.

Fellow co-star Osric Chau also reached for "Supernatural" die-hard fans and the victim's fans. He asked his Twitter followers, "You know what would really cheer @Mishacollins up? If Random Acts took first place. I vote for @RandomActsOrg to #UpgradeYourWorld #Vote."

The 41- year old lead also gave time to thank his fans for their concerns as mentioned in Celebrity Auction. Later on, he tweeted on a Saturday afternoon, "Hey guys! Thanks for all the well-wishes!" He continued by saying, "Just want u to know I've just got some minor scrapes. I'm totally fine! Love u guys."

However, a false report circulated before the mug was confirmed, a news site called Media Fetcher posted a story on Saturday. The site claimed that Collins was in a car crash and then he was attacked. This made some "Supernatural" fans think that this is what happened to Collins. But Beaver restated in his Facebook post that no car accident was involved.

But despite the unfortunate incident, it was clear that "Supernatural" fans are showing off their support. @SPNfreaks took to Twitter, "#WeLoveYouMisha We hope you feel better soon! Please take care of yourself @mishacollins â€" Supernatural." One fan also posted, @JENMISH, "oh my god i cannot believe this my heart is broken so badly MISHA COLLINS DESERVES LOVE AND RESPECT AND NOTHING BAD AT ALL #WeLoveYouMisha."

Meanwhile, the supporters' rally to support Collins was very evident on Twitter. The hashtag #WeLoveYouMisha trended worldwide Saturday afternoon as the rumored attack spread in the Internet. The actor's fans and his co- stars are wishing the lead star's full recovery and they are still waiting on Collins' confirmation of the whole issue through an interview.
