The first teaser video for "NCIS" season 13 has been released and it showed Agent Gibbs being treated by guest star Jon Cryer as he was shot while on a mission. Another spoiler for the show also has been reported and it is said that Dinozzo is to get a new love interest.
According to Carter Matt, the teaser video posed the question regarding the survival or possible death of Gibbs. However, it was already reported before that Mark Harmon, the actor playing the role of Gibbs, will not be killed off so fans basically know that he already survived.
However, there is a plot twist as he can no longer be the same Gibbs that he was since he will be struggling to recover and it will show a sadder life for the agent.
In the video, Gibbs was also seen with his daughter and when he followed her outside the door, the doctors were losing him in the operating room. However, guest star "Two and a Half Men" actor Jon Cryer will be the one who will save the character from dying. Cryer will play the role of Dr. Taft, a known surgeon in the Navy and is a successful doctor who is extremely confident in what he does. This was very much evident in the video released.
Cross Map reported that Agent Gibbs will not only be struggling physically as he will also have a difficult time dealing with his situation emotionally. He will reportedly no longer be able to lead the team the same way he did before.
As for Tony Dinozzo, played by Michael Weatherly, KDrama Stars shared that the actor may finally have a woman beside him in "NCIS" Season 13.
He will reportedly be very shaken up by what happened to Gibbs and he will realize that he needs a female companion. Weatherly shared, "I think when we look at Gibbs and how sad he is as a character and he's essentially living this life where it's not a total experience. He has no wife, no partner."
Despite being affected by Gibbs' situation, Dinozzo and the protagonist's feud will still deepen in Season 13.
"NCIS" Season 13 will be premiering this September 22 on CBS.
