Blizzard Entertainment has launched much awaited Diablo 3 Season 4 for PC and Mac versions with new set of challenges and chances to win exciting rewards.
Cinema Blend reports that in Diablo 3's all-new season 4, hardcore gamers can go after some achievements and season-exclusive challenges called Conquests. Additionally, the community's progress all throughout the new season will be monitored on Leaderboards and fans can review their individual accomplishments with the use of Seasons Journey interface.
Despite that players won't be on top of the leaderboards, new items can still be earned for their respective characters, e.g. when players get to finish each of the chapters in the Season Journey list, a frame for a character's portrait along with a cosmetic pet will be unlocked.
Another is that when level 70 is reached, one seasonal character will unlock the Conqueror's breastplate and helmet for transmogrification. These cosmetic items which are the same items offered back in season 1 notedly at par with the transmog pieces in Season 2 and 3.
Moreover, the loot pool for Diablo 3 Season 4 also features some unique all-new Legendaries, although, these items won't be revealed for non-season characters until the fourthe season is complete. The most coveted among the new add-ons is Henri's Perquisition, an off-hand item for Witch Doctors made from a very unfortunate cat.
For those who are not aware of Diablo 3 Seasons feature, Blizzard Entertainment has provided a crystal clear summary stating, "Seasons are an optional, recurring game mode that offers PC players the opportunity to periodically start fresh, leveling new Normal or Hardcore heroes from level 1 without any currency, resources, items, or previously earned Paragon experience."
"Similar to the separation between Normal and Hardcore game modes, Seasonal heroes will also have their own shared stash and Artisan progression. Any currency, materials, recipes, items, Paragon experience, and Artisan progression earned during a Season will be rolled over to a player's non-Seasonal profile once the Season concludes," adds game developer.
Meanwhile, Diablo 3 Patch 2.3.0 has gone live with a host of major new features and legendary items including a powerful relic, adventure mode and new zone to explore in the game.
The game's latest update adds major item called the Kanai's Cube, a new artifact which in oppose to Horadric Cube, breaks items down to prepare special effects as passive skills for the gamer's character. The Kanai's Cube can also change crafting materials from one type to another and so on.
Blizzard Entertainment will be holding its own BlizzCon 2015 Event happening later in the year with tons of surprises for its fans where an announcement of a new expansion for Diablo 3 is seen to be imminent now that World of Warcraft Legion has been revealed. In the meantime, fans can enjoy the game with the ongoing season 4 and the latest offerings from patch 2.3.0.
