Destiny: The Taken King New DLC Features Announced; Will the Patch Even Out the Playing Field?

By

Destiny: The Taken King has through multiple updates for the numerous months that it has been heard of. With not that long of a wait before the game is upon the players, a few details have been disclosed by Bungie which may prove to be beneficial in the future welfare of both the veterans of the game, as well as for those who are yet to try it.

According to IB Times, one concern that players have brought up would be the skill gap or experience differential between the long-time players or veterans, compared to the gamers who are yet to try the game for the first time.

This concern has been addressed by Bungie, and has informed that DLC will make a more reasonable bridge wherein the newer players can at least catch up to the more experienced gamers. Simply by allotting time and effort to earn points instead of waiting for a random number generator to give them results, they can improve at will.

IGN recently reported that new rare and nifty gear will be made available to the public. Apart from that, it has been revealed that exotics, shaders, ships and emblems can be used as blueprints, which can be replicated quickly. A weekly event known as "Arms-Day" will permit players to purchase legendary weapons from the gunsmith in exchange for legendary marks.

Identical enough, it was delivered by Vine Report that with regards to the storyline, players will have to defeat Oryx, The Taken King, in a universe in which the gamers must also vanquish his army. If that may not be enough to take players on a ride, there will be more enemies to take on in the future.

With all the indicated major updates and more to come, Destiny's The Taken King DLC is bound to hit the consoles on September 15, 2015.
