Android 6.0 Marshmallow Developer's Preview 3 is available for Nexus 5, 6, 9 and Nexus Player which can be downloaded through Google's Android developer page. Other Android devices are expected to download the official new Android firmware by October to November or early 2016. Improved application management, mobile payments and fingerprint support are just some features of what the new firmware can offer.
TechAdvisor mentioned that Android 6.0 Preview 3 can be downloaded in Nexus 5, 6, 9 phones and Nexus Player. The report said that other Android devices such as Samsung Galaxy series, Motorola phones, LG series devices, and others will receive the new software by the end of the year or early 2016.

On the other hand, TechAdvisor noted the changes that Android 6.0 Marshmallow can bring on Android devices. The changes include improvements such as App permissions, Web experience, App links, Mobile payments, Fingerprint support, and Power and charging.
Moreover, TechAdvisor said that the power and charging include a boost of the phone's life through Doze. This feature enables the phone to go in ultra-power saving mode when it is not in use. The new software version features fingerprint support wherein it will not just secure the phone but also to protect information in Android Pay mobile payments system. The report added that it will also give parental controls, more customization, and smarter gestures on the Android Device.
The software update intends to improve the use of Android handsets and as well as increase phone protection against virus. Google did not announce when the OTA of Android 6.0 Marshmallow Developer's Preview 3 will be received by the aforementioned Nexus devices.
