Sony's upcoming phablet Xperia Z5 has been teased on Twitter this week to sport a hybrid autofocus system for its camera and experts see it as the selling point of the device, adding to a bunch of sensor supports incorporated making it a double step up from its predecessor.
Sony Xperia Z5's teased autofocus system on Twitter made rounds in the web since it's a way for Sony to confirm that they are after all brewing a new flagship device. The username @sonyxperiagb posted: "Get ready for a smartphone with greater focus. All will become clear on 02/09/15." A blurred photo taken not with this device was posted alongside this post since it suggest clarification of the image will be revealed on the said date.
This announcement technically points to Sony Xperia Z5's September 2 launch at the 2015 IFA event in Berlin, Germany. The Japanese tech titan is moving a notch in camera technology following the Z3 and Z4 series already killer snappers.
According to earlier reports, "greater focus" points to a phase detection system to match contrast based on autofocus. This innovation has been already mechanized in the recently launched Xperia M5.
Meanwhile, Xperia Z5 is reported sticking to omnibalance design and pushing the new Android skin. It will sport an octa-core processor with 3.2 GHz clock per cycle, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage capacity.
Sony's latest phablet will wear a 5.5-inch screen in 4K HD display with 1080p resolution. Its rear-facing main is at 30 MP with G+ sensors and front snapper at 10 MP. Xperia Z5 will also rock a 4,500 mAh battery.
Aside from the Gravity sensors, Z5 will also have fingerprint and Retina scanners. The device is most likely wearing Android 5.1.1 Lollipop mobile operating system. However, reports are also suggests that Xperia Z5 might pioneer the Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
