Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain News: Vacation of programmers cancelled for early PC version release; Families of staff not happy

By

As Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and the development company behind it has gone through extensive and quite intriguing phases for the past few months, it is apparent that Konami can no longer do any more wrongs from where they stand. Having said that, news recently came out for the fans that they may enjoy, but with a massive bittersweet taste to go with it.

With Konami and Kojima recently coming from an untimely detachment months back, the matters of having trouble with the company has been rather painful for the developer, and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain as well. Moreover, as reported by Dual Shockers, behind all the controversy, an even darker and somewhat assuring claim has reached the attention of the fans.

Dating back to March, the original plan of Konami was to release the PC version of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain would be delayed for about two weeks, as recently delivered by Gameranx. Altering the said conclusion, however, is the fact that Konami decided to have the PC game launched the same time as the other next generation consoles, at the cost of the development team's personal time.

In order to make the said release happen, the public was enlightened by some tweets regarding the rush project taking action, according to Game Zone. Kenichiro Imaizumi, one of Konami's veteran producers, stated that the team behind the game had to go for the extra mile to have the launch date earlier.

The most shocking feat that was noted was the announcement that the team gave up their vacation period to work double time. Mister Imaizumi clarified that the staff did this enthusiastically, but of course, the families were not at all pleased. Sad as it may seem, the management discretion may be the dominant force for the recent events.

With that being said, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is due to be released on September 1, 2015 for Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
