The Legend of Zelda Wii U misses PAX Prime; Famous level 'Ocarina of Time' recreated on Vimeo

The Legend of Zelda Wii U will be absent at the PAX Prime this weekend. Fans and players of the series are clinging on the hope that Nintendo will change its mind before it's too late. But it looks like a renowned Legend of Zelda chapter is coming back redesigned anew by Unreal software.

According to Design & Trend, although Nintendo had been spreading some good news lately with their games being released left and right, its fans were also hoping that it would show up at PAX Prime with The Legend of Zelda Wii U in tow. The game is not in its official list, which includes Star Fox Zero, Super Mario Maker, and Xenoblade Chronicles X. These three have definite release dates, while The Legend of Zelda Wii U is still indefinite.

Meanwhile, MNR Daily somewhat explained what might be the reason for the delay in the game's release. Eversince initial announcements in March of "indefinite delay" on its development, speculations then on spread out that a lot of things still need to be fine-tuned. For this reason, it is only proper for Nintendo not to announce anything final yet.

Saddened fans can still divert their attention to a visual consolation. According to Popular Science, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is now beautifully redone using Unreal Engine 4. This release was commended as one of the most significant releases in the video game industry. This advanced graphic rendering software engine had paved the way for other remarkable lifelike simulations.

This Legend of Zelda version coded in Unreal 4 takes players back to that classical water stage in Zora's Domain. This video was created by Michael Eurek and can be seen in Vimeo. Although Zora and other Hyrule characters will also be missed in this two-minute video, it will still be a sight to behold as it gives a splendid virtual tour to the many levels in the Zora world.

This would make do, for now, for the fans and players of The Legend of Zelda series. Hopefully, Nintendo might make up for their absence and delays by coming up with an admirable The Legend of Zelda release.
