The Legend of Zelda Tri Force Heroes Release Date Confirmed; The Legend of Zelda Wii U Still Unknown; Gag Comic Now Online

By

For fans of The Legend of Zelda series, it will just be another two months before the new installment The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes will hit shelves. For now, players can, perhaps, relax and read a gag comic online called The Legend of Zelda: Links Hijinks. As for The Legend of Zelda Wii U release date, players should just keep knocking on Nintendo's doors and continue wishing that their woes be heard.

According to Comic Book, Nintendo recently made an announcement regarding release dates for their entire collection for the remainder of 2015. Release dates for highly anticipated new games revealed at E3, the latest Amiibo, and special promotional offers are included in this calendar as well. The games cover both Nintendo's Wii U and the 3DS consoles.

Included in this list is The Zelda: Tri Force Heroes which will be released on October 23. It can be played by one or three players. This version is more of a co-op game as compared to other The Legend of Zelda series wherein gamers had to play competitively. What's also surprising about Tri Force Heroes is that Link will wear a line of costumes (with powers, of course), borrowed from the princess' closet, to rescue the lass in danger and solve the puzzles.

On the other hand, Nintendo uploaded a new treat for The Legend of Zelda fans in its Play Nintendo page. According to Nuke the Fridge, "The Legend of Zelda: Links Hijinks was based on the original Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask manga from Seitaro Komatsu. The special gag comic was originally released in the Japanese manga magazine, CoroCoro Comics Special." If fans will crave more of this comic, Nintendo might make more of these in the future.

As of date, Nintendo has not made up its mind when it will launch The Legend of Zelda Wii U. The hype about this much-anticipated game could be washed down eversince Nintendo announced that it will be delayed on a much later date.

According to Design & Trend, it is listed to come out sometime in 2016, but with Nintendo still juggling a lot of other stuff in their hands, the game's release might be in two years time.

From making a major decision of introducing the game on its new platform codenamed the NX, prepping it for the ambitious open world gameplay, to integrating Amiibo into the Legend of Zelda series; the hype about the game might have died down by then. And all what Nintendo had done lavishly for this game might in turn be futile.
