Prince Harry just missed a very important day in Princess Charlotte's life. In fact, the bachelor feels so terrible that he couldn't be present at his niece's christening ceremony that he's still carrying the disappointment within himself almost two months later.
The 30-year-old royal family member has been working really hard as a volunteer in Namibia since June where he has been of great help for the protection and conservation of lions, elephants and rhinos. Previously, he visited Australia and New Zealand, which only meant that he also missed the birth of Prince William's second child as reported by E! News.
Simson Uri-Khob who's an advocate for "Save The Rhino", mentioned that when the Royal Highness knew he wouldn't be there to celebrate Charlotte's baptism ceremony on July 5 he told one of his companions that he feels bad. The red head's disappointment made the front page of Hello! Daily News. He mentioned, "What a bad uncle I am! I should really be there. But today I am here, this is where I want to be."
The advocate also stated that Harry disclosed his feelings when he asked the workers about their families and in turn, they asked about his.The fifth in line to the crown also claimed to them that life was sometimes tricky when you have so many bodyguards. Uri-Khob also added, "We asked him what about if you're with a girlfriend. Are they around then?" Harry responded by saying, "unfortunately yes, more than ever. But I know how to handle that."
Meanwhile, the Prince elaborated his intention of being a good uncle to Princess Charlotte after she was born on May 2. But unfortunately, he was not able to visit her for three weeks after the Princess was born because of his long trip to continue his volunteer works. In an interview with Mirror UK before saw her niece, Prince Harry admitted he was delighted at being an uncle to both George and Charlotte.
And in a recent news of Vogue UK, the Prince mentioned his advice for Geroge and Charlotte. He claimed that between Prince George and the arrival of Princess Charlotte, Prince Harry would also see himself having kids. But he also emphasized that it will happen when it's going to happen. His surprising statement goes, "There comes times when you think now is the time to settle down, or now is not, whatever way it is, but I don't think you can force these things. It will happen when it's going to happen. Of course I would love to have kids right now, but there's a process that one has to go through."
Even though, the Prince voiced out his love for kids, reports claim that the Prince may have rough relationships so far. Now, he's only waiting for someone to be next to him to finally settle down. And as for his big brother's title as a father, Prince Harry couldn't be more ecstatic at his current reality.
