Mobile carrier AT&T has just announced that it will be releasing the LG G Pad X 10.1 online beginning September 4. The tablet comes with a pre-installed DIRECTV app which also runs on Android Lollipop's 5.1.1 version.

LG G Pad X 10.1 tablet sports a slim and rounded metallic design which will help the new DIRECTV app's optimum viewing experience. With this app, the tablet is expected to project a high performance and big-screen viewing.

Primarily, DIRECTV wants the device to turn into an entertainment portal where users can watch live TV, shows and even up-to-date movies and DVR playlists. The app also gives the device more controls and options for entertainment files.

Not to mention the storage's capacity, it has a 32 GB of memory on board which can be expanded up to 128 GB using a microSD card. In terms of battery capacity, LG G Pad X 10.1 have a powerful 7400 mAh battery for a long-standing usage.

The device has 2.26 GHz Quad Core processor and 2 GB of RAM for sleek streaming experience for video, gaming and other contents. The 10.1-inch tablet wears a full HD widescreen display helping emphasize more toned colors, sharp texts, and clear images. It has an 8 MP auto-focus rear camera and a Gesture Shot feature for its 2 MP front-shooter will activate a three-second timer countdown for ideal selfies.

The Dual Window feature meanwhile allows users to split screen into two viewing of compatible apps for multitasking purposes. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop showcases the QPair feature which allows owners to answer calls, receive and reply to text messages and social media messengers.

With Reader Mode, e-reading has never been the same which helps reduce eye strain by LG's LCD screen intensity technology. LG G Pad X 10.1 tablet is available in brilliant bronze designs. It costs $17.50/month for 20 months with AT&T's tablet installment plan.
