The singer and song writer, Andy Grammer was announced as the eighth celebrity to be joining the latest season of Dancing With the Stars on August 31st. After making it to the top of the charts in 2014 with his hit single 'Honey, I'm Good,' the 31 year old is hanging up the microphone and putting on his dance shoes as he prepares to compete in the 21st season of the popular Abc show.
In a report from Pop Sugar, ABC has been announcing the celebrity contestants one by one, with Andy Grammer being the eighth. However on September 2, fans can find out the full line up on 'Good Morning America,' with the premiere of the show on September 14. With the excitement of the show starting in less than two weeks, Andy Grammer is gearing himself up for the challenges he'll face in the weeks to come.
Enstars reported that Andy Grammer was set to be partnered up with Peta Murgatroyd who the singer had already bonded with. However, due to a recent injury that Peta Murgatroyd suffered from, Andy announced that he will have to find another dancing partner. Though it has yet been confirmed whether Peta will be able to perform in the 21st season, news of Andy being assigned to a new partner gives fans, and Andy little hope of Peta's appearance on the show.
According to Digital Spy, Andy will be among other celebrity contestants such as television presenter Bindi Irwin, jockey Victor Espinoza, Backstreet Boy member Nick Carter, R&B singer Chaka Khan, and many more famous celebrities. Also, previous judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Toniolo, and Julianne Hough will be back for another season with the hard task of judging the celebrities on their dance moves.
With the start of the 21st season of Dancing With the Stars only a few days ahead of us, fans of Andy Grammer are getting excited to see their favourite singer take on the dance floor. With the announcement of the other celebrity contestants to be announced on the 2nd of September, ABC may have a few more surprise up their sleeve.
