Three new "American Horror Story: Hotel" teasers were released by FX and fans are going crazy as they are chilling and horrific. Ryan Murphy shared before that this installment is by far the most difficult for him as he has incorporated some of his personal fears in the show's upcoming episodes.
According to ABC News, Ryan Murphy promised before that this season will be much darker and bloodier than the previous installments. He shared that the upcoming season is really much more horror-based. He added, "It's about a theme and an idea that's very close to my heart that I've always wanted to do that's a little bloodier and grislier I think than anything that we've done before; it's straight horror this year."
In a report by Entertainment Online, the first teaser that was released is about the fear of the show's executive producer, Murphy, which is the fear that there are people under his hotel bed. He noted that he has always been freaked out by the idea so he decided to incorporate it in "American Horror Story: Hotel."
The EP also shared in another interview that filming the series and being able to see his fears come to life just intensified the things he was scared of instead of conquering them. He pointed out that it has made everything worse for him. He talked about this scene were somebody comes out of a mattress and noted it as absolutely terrifying. The executive producer teased, "We built a mattress that somebody has been sewed into, and is not dead so [expect] things like that."
In another teaser trailer, an army of pale blonde children are going up and down a staircase. For the last teaser, fans were able to take a look at the room 64 of the hotel, which is the room of Mr. James March, played by Evan Peters. He is the murderous psychopath who built the hotel back in the '30s.
Meanwhile, "American Horror Story: Freak Show" was able to garner 19 Emmy Award nominations.
