Batman Arkham Knight DLC Crime Fighter Challenge Crusades Now; PC Patch Shows Up on Steam

By

Batman Arkham Knight DLC called Crime Fighter Challenge is now available for purchase and download in all regions on both the PlayStation and Xbox Stores. This is one of the four DLC packs that were long promised by Rocksteady. But some still have concerns about the Season Pass and why Arkham Knight is still not available for PC to date.

The Arkham Knight DLC Crime Fighter Challenge can now be easily downloaded by previous owners of the said game, according to the International Business Times. With combat-oriented challenges, this DLC pack allows gamers to control Robin, Nightwing, Catwoman, and of course, Batman himself. Each character will undergo one mission, while Batman will course through both combat and stealth-oriented predator challenges. There is, also, a team-oriented course wherein gamers can control both Batman and Robin.

Again, season pass holders can avail this and other upcoming DLC packs for free. But those players who weren't able to purchase the game, can still download the Crime Fighter Challenge for $1.99.

According to GeekSnack, Crime Fighter Challenge is just one of the four DLCs that will be released by Rocksteady and Warner Bros. this month. The other three includes a story campaign GCPD Lockdown DLC set after the events of Batman Arkham Knight which stars Nightwing; the 2008 Tumbler Batmobile Pack which was originally featured in the Dark Knight movie; and the original Arkham Batman skin which was initially seen in the first game of the series. No announcements have been given out for their release dates.

As to Batman Arkham Knight coming to PC, the game's technical incompetence has been long complained about. While Warner Bros. immediately apologized for the mishap and pulled the game from Steam, many players were still unforgiving of the incident and remain unhappy of the game's absence to PC.

But, breaking news! Kotaku revealed that some PC patch for Arkham Knight "accidentally" made its way in Steam, for a brief moment, that is. Someone from Warner Bros. must have slipped and deployed a large patch and enabled a significant number of players to enjoy the new graphics options and play the game. Unfortunately, these were now removed from Steam and were replaced with new patches. But the lucky ones had posted some screenshots of the patch for others to see.

All these extensive lineup of DLC packs and, perhaps, coincidental drum-roll of patches for PC may be attempts from Rocksteady to keep the Caped Crusader onboard the gaming community. The complaints may have raised some good points, and here's hoping that the Batman Arkham Knight developers have read the reports. Beyond this, these are quite good offers for a couple of bucks to spare.
