Leonardo, Donatello, Michaelangelo, and Raphael are set for another adventure in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. However, they will be joined by a potential ally, new villains, and the return of their old nemesis, Shredder.
As reported by Movie Pilot, Shredder's dim-witted mutated henchmen, Bebop and Rocksteady are set to enter the world of the ninja turtles. In the cartoon series, Bebop and Rocksteady started as ordinary gang members who later gets mutated into a warthog and a rhino that enabled them to become physically stronger than the turtles, however, the turtles still manage to defeat them most of the time by outwitthing them.
In the upcoming film, Gary Anthony Williams is set to appear as Bebop, while WWE star Sheamus is set to play as Rocksteady. Although it has not been confirmed yet, another WWE star, CM Punk, previously hinted that they might also be mutated into becoming a rhino and warthog halfway through the movie.
Aside from Bebop and Rocksteady, Comicbook reported that space alien Krang might also appear in the upcoming film. Extras were reportedly spotted in the film's set gathering around a portal that could send him to Earth. No actors were reported to play the character, however speculations suggest that it might be in CGI form.
Also, 'Arrow' actor Stephen Amell, is on board in the as the vigilante, Casey Jones. In the series, Jones uses sports equipment as weapons in his run as a vigilante in New York. He will reportedly be an ally to the turtles, and as reported by iSchoolGuide, the love interest of April O'Neill. Brian Tee is also on board as the new Shredder, replacing Tohoru Masamune for the role.
Alan Ritchson is reprising his role as Raphael, along with Noel Fisher as Michaelangelo, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Jeremy Howard as Donatello and Megan Fox as April O'Neill. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is directed by Michael Bay and is set to hit theaters in June 2016.
