In a recent interview of Rita Ora at the VMAs, the singer opened up about her collaboration with Chris Brown. The "Poison" hitmaker admitted that she's "grateful" for the RnB singer's support on her new album. And just days after, Ora was captured getting emotional on an X Factor contestant's performance.
The 24-year old "Body On Me" songstress boldly revealed many things about her duet with Chris Brown with Billboard at the VMAs. She talked about how grateful she is to Brown's collaboration for her new album stating, "I respect Chris Brown's work and I thought the tone of he voice fit perfectly with the record," Ora shared about their double act in the single. She also continued by saying, "There's a lot more to think about than how many songs Chris has out at the moment. I'm just a fan, and I'm very, very grateful that he wanted to support me."
The singer also talked about the changes that were made on her newest album. "I was 18 when I did my first album; I'm 24 now. I was a fan of music before, and I really enjoyed being in the studio and making music about partying, but I wasn't ready to offer my own interpretation or creative vision of music. I feel I have to contribute something now."
Then, just after she put on a bold facade at the MTV Video Music Awards, Ora was spotted being camera timid when she boarded in London's Heathrow Airport on Tuesday. The hit- maker seemingly hid her face from the photographers, which is quite the opposite of her spirited look in LA, as reported by the Dailymail UK.
Over the weekend, the "Poison" singer also got somewhat emotional as she shed tears as in Seann Miley Moore's audition on X Factor. She explained later on why she cried on X Factor to Just Jared, saying, "He walked onto the stage with a meaning, with a message that was about being a misfit and being comfortable.
Then Ora continued by stating, "He loved it and he was passionate about it. He didn't even have to speak. I felt it. I was so relieved that someone had come on the show and showed that kind of individuality." She also mentioned that she was very thankful that someone showed off their security to be on their own skin.
Meanwhile, after mentioning the changes of her music career, the performer is now working with a team of fresh talents and songwriters, including Major Lazer and Felix Snow. And although the release date of her album is still unclear, the music artist admitted that she's ready to follow up her new album with a back up album.
