One direction member Niall Horan has unknowingly fractured his foot while performing in a concert. This foot injury may cause the singer to take a break from the "On the Road Again" show.

Niall Horan fractured his right foot during One Direction's concert in Montreal on Saturday. During their performance in the Olympic Stadium, the 21-year-old artist revealed his unawareness of the cause when asked by band mate Louis Tomlinson. Apparently, Horan did not know how he got the injury. The excruciating pain was said to have suddenly began the next morning and caused him to go to the doctor for a checkup. His doctor reportedly found out that he actually fractured his right foot.

This is not the first time the Irish singer got injured in a concert. Just last year, Gossip Cop reported that Horan underwent knee surgery after hitting his knee with an object while they were performing in Amsterdam. Despite this, Horan has really not complained about the injuries he had suffered.

In addition, Horan was not the only band member who had a foot injury. Harry Styles seemed to have fractured one too. He allegedly got injured when he tripped down during one of their concerts. In August, Styles reportedly fell down and hit the ground when One Direction was playing their songs in Toronto and also tumbled down back in July in San Diego.

In line with the reports, the blonde cutie's injury appears to be serious since he had to wear a protective boot during the group's On the Road Again show. In fact, it was even captured in the video and was posted in Vine with a caption that goes, "Niall said he woke up with a pain in his foot so he got an X-ray and he fractured it and he doesn't know how. The ending #OTRAmontreal."

According to Hollywoodlife, the 1D member will certainly need a lot of time to rest his foot when the band goes on its hiatus after they release their fifth album this year. In the meantime, he will still be at the band's shows and be purportedly taken care by Camila Cabello. The Fifth Harmony songstress recently dropped by the band's New York show on September 3 and she reportedly spent most of her time with Horan than any of the other of the boy band.

With his injury, it looks like the boy band member needs to make a few adjustments with his lifestyle. Reports claim that Horan has to stop playing golf and his other sports for a while. But it may not stop Horan from playing to tens of thousands of fans every night on the One Direction tour.
