Sony is confident that it will make its mark in the marketplace in October as it recently announced the upcoming of new Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Premium, and Xperia Z5 Compact. The company will make sure that it will provide great entertainment through the most innovated design, display and other high-technological specs. This is the reason Sony is setting higher prices to its upcoming devices compared to new iPhones.
GSM Arena listed the price details of the new phones depending on its memory size and point of sale. To summarize the list, Xperia Z5 will cost £525 to £600, Xperia Z5 Premium will cost £630 to £700, and Xperia Z5 Compact will cost £440 to £550. In comparison with the new Apple's devices, iPhone 6 costs £539 and iPhone 6S costs £619. Sony is unquestionably matching Apple's offer from the given price lists.
Aside from Sony's pricing that will be on top of other smartphone's portfolio, the Japanese company will present jaw-dropping specs and features of its new phones. GSM Arena has posted high-end specs of the new Xperia Z series and to begin with its similarities, the new phones will come with a CPU of Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2 GHz Cortex-A57. It will also run in Android 6.0 Lollipop version. Sony is known of manufacturing dust-proof and water-resistant devices which is why all new Xperia Z series will have such capabilities. All new devices will also have primary camera of 23 MP, 5520 х 4140 pixels, phase detection autofocus, and LED flash.
Moreover, related report said that the three new devices will have Li-Ion non-removable battery and Z5 will come with 2900 mAh, Z5 Premium will have 3430 mAh, and Z5 Compact will come with 2700 mAh. Interestingly, Z5 will have dimensions of 146 x 72 x 7.3 mm, while Z5 Premium will measure 154.4 x 75.8 x 7.8 mm, and Z5 Compact will measure 127 x 65 x 8.9 mm.
With some of the aforementioned exciting specs and features of the new Xperia Z series, it is no wonder Sony will be offering such price lists. Sony has no announcement on when is the exact date of release of the new devices in October.
