"Frozen" fans can go on and breathe again. Elsa is unlikely to die in the much awaited sequel contrary to rumors that the Ice Queen may perish in "Frozen 2."
Followers should have to wait for a couple more years for the release of Disney's much loved animation sequel "Frozen 2," but theory after theory goes around about what the plot is going to be. One of those is the death of Elsa, however a report says that it won't happen as the success of the movie depends on happily ever after. Queen Elsa's significance in the story makes this speculation somewhat impossible.
Elsa will also reportedly be involved in romantic love whether with a gentleman like Anna found in Kristoff or with also a woman. The Queen of Arandelle is rumored to be a lesbian but that is not confirmed. Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee have started throwing ideas around for the plot and said to be integrating social issues to promote a meaningful message.
The sequel will feature the original cast. Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, and Jonathan Groff are all set to reprise their roles in the film. Eva Bella who voiced the young Elsa is also going back and that could mean a significant aspect for the plot. A flashback is possible to be featured in "Frozen 2" back on how was Elsa and Anna was closed as sisters when they were still kids. It could also be used to see the origin of Ice Queen Elsa's power and the tragic accident that changed their lives forever.
According to Movie Plot it is also possible that Elsa will fall on a spell and turn to being a child again. To the rescue, her sister Anna, accompanied by Kristoff will find a way; a potion or a de-aging spell to bring back Elsa to her normal self.
There are also rumors of some other Disney characters that will make an appearance in the new film. Among the rumored guest characters are Flynn Rider from "Tangled" and Jack Frost from "Rise of the Guardians."
