Last August 7, "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" was officially released in Japan. The English version will be out in 83 cities in North America next month but, before it reaches Amercia, fans are already watching it online.
Millions of anime fans and avid manga readers are looking forward for the chance to watch the Naruto film which was not yet released outside Japan. Viz Media has authorized an American release on October 7 but, there are still eager fans looking for a copy for torrent downloads. According to reports, fans can get a soft copy through the internet. However, this may be a box office flop for Viz Media.
Yibada reported that a pirated version of the movie, "Boruto: Naruto the Movie", has leaked in different websites which includes the Reddit, 4Chan, Facebook, Twitter, and Torrent engines. Thus, giving the fans the opportunity to download and watch the movie in prior to the release date. Though, it wasn't stated whether the copy has a subtitle or none.
In another article on Crossmap, the storyline of the "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" is evident. The film is more of an aftermath of the past film, "The Last: Naruto the Movie" wherein the family life of Naruto was revealed by Masashi Kishimoto. As a Hokage, Naruto has been busy being a hero, lacking time for his family. This turned his son, Boruto, in deep resentment and started practising his ninja abilities in order to surpass his father's skills.
According to The Bit Bag, hearsays that Lionsgate is under negotiation for the production of a "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" live-action film. It is yet to be confirmed whether the live-action will be based off of the film or it will follow a different plot.
In the recent film, the appearance of a new character will be seen. Though, some speculations say that the new character, Mitsuki, might be related to Orochimaru. Mitsuki's character origin is still unidentified and her role remains indistinct.
With so much demand for the anime film, the latest Naruto movie earned a total of 2.02 billion yen or US$16.8 million as of August 25. So far, this is the highest gross rating in the history of the Naruto series movies.
As stated by many, "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" is so far the best movie among the Naruto series films. It was also attested by the creator of the anime, Mahashi Kishimoto.
