'War of the Planet of the Apes' finally begins casting for fresh newcomers with Gabriel Chavarria as one of the leading human protagonists. The sequel's newly announced dangerous title hints at an exciting new plot line.

According to Den of Geek, the next chapter of the successful science-fiction action franchise has announced that casting is well underway. Director Matt Reeves, who helmed the preceding movie 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes', will be returning to spearhead the much awaited project with writer Mark Bomback to pen the screenplay once more. It was previously reported that Andy Serkis is all set to reprise his role as ape leader Caesar.

In another article by Screen Crush, newcomer Gabriel Chavarria was the first one to jump on board for a part as the sequel's human protagonist. The film and TV actor, who is best known for his role as Jason Aguilar in the series 'East Los High', is said to be taking up a key role in the third installment of the series reboot. It remains unknown how his character will come into play in 'War of the Planet of the Apes'.

It was reported that Caesar's last lines in the previous film was "Apes start war... and Human will not forgive." This may possibly be the beginning of a turning point in the franchise as revealed by its latest cinematic release's running title, according to Cinema Blend. The impending threat of war was hinted at in the previous film and may finally come into culmination in the next chapter.

'War of the Planet of the Apes' is an upcoming science-fiction film that will follow the events after its predecessor. The last film won an Oscar nomination for Best Visual Effects as well as several other nominations and awards including nominations from BAFTA, the Art Directors Guild, AACTA International Awards and the Saturn Awards. It starred Serkis as well as Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell and Toby Kebbell.
