A new poster has been released for the upcoming film "Pan", which tells the story of "the boy who can fly'. Casting director Dixie Chassay revealed how they cast Levi Miller for the titular role, while Hugh Jackman said he felt "great" playing the villain.

Fandango revealed a poster of Levi Miller as the extraordinary young man Peter in Neverland with the mystical place's waterfall in the background and a pirate ship flying in the skies. In the film, Peter looks for his mother who left him when he was an infant. As seen in the the trailer, he was eventually raised by Irish Catholic nuns who sold young boys to pirates that resulted in his arrival at Neverland.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Los Angeles Times director Joe Wright and casting director Dixie Chassay revealed that they did not cast Miller during their London casting call. The report revealed that Miller was chosen through the tape that he sent in.

"There was something about him where we just said, 'That's it." Chassay revealed. "It's very tricky. You need someone who has to be special but also that every child has to connect to. It has to be someone both ordinary and extraordinary. And Levi had that." he added.

Miller will star in the titular role alongside Hugh Jackman as the pirate villain Blackbeard. In an interview with Karl Quinn in The Sydney Morning Herald, Jackman described his experience playing as a villain as "great", and jokingly added about finally being able to show his real self in a film.

Moreover, as the conversation turned towards the serious subject of institutionalized child abuse as seen in the trailer, Jackman revealed that Wright changed some elements of the film after he told the director that he has adopted kids and doesn't want them to feel awkward. In the film, Peter and the other boys are being supervised in an orphanage run by harsh nuns.

"I said to Joe, 'Look, at some stage I've got to sit down with my kids and watch it, and I don't want any feeling with them of feeling awkward'. And he was very sensitive to that. There were a couple of things he changed, actually", Jackman revealed.

Jackman also said that Wright is someone who has delved into the dark corners of fairytales and "as he pointed out to me, it's [about] the exorcism of the fears that every kid has, being snatched, the bogeyman, the dark, whatever it is."

Joe Wright directed "Pan", which is written by Jason Fuchs. The film stars Hugh Jackman, Levi Miller, Cara Delevingne, Garrett Hedlund, Rooney Mara, and Amanda Seyfried, among many others. It is set to hit theaters in October 9, 2015.
