How To Get Away With Murder premieres with "It's Time to Move On" Episode. Professor and Defense Attorney Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) and her top students called the "Keating Five" move on with their lives as though no murders happened in Season 1.
Annalise accepts new case as a way to overcome the murders of her client Rebecca and her husband Sam Keating (Tom Verica). Her new clients are a brother and sister, accused of murdering their parents. Meanwhile, Annalise's students - Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch), Connor Walsh (Jack Falahee), Asher Millstone (Matt McGorry), Michaela Pratt (Aja Naomi King) and Laurel Castillo (Karla Souza) - reel off the disappearance of Rebecca Sutter (Katie Findlay) according to Spoiler TV as reported by IB Times.
Carter Matt leaks that the identity of Rebecca's killer will be made known to the audience by the end of the premiere. Questions on why and how the act was done remains to be answered by the show but Analise being the suspect lingers still.
Aside from Rebecca's murder, show's creator, Peter Nowalk, says that, We're going to find out more about how Bonnie and Annalise know each other. In season 1, Bonnie's loyalty to Annalise is undeniably noticeable for she would do everything to please her. According to Franchise Herald as reported by Food World News that this intriguing part of the plot would be revealed in the next season.
As for the casting updates annotated still by IBtimes, "X-Men" actress Famke Janssen would be the old friend visiting Annalise in the premiere episode. Entertainment Weekly (EW) reports that Janssen has been cast to portray a revered defense attorney in "How to Get Away with Murder" Season 2. This was confirmed when the series creator Peter Nowalk shared an image of Janssen as the new HTGAWM character Eve on his Twitter account @petenowalk.
How To Get Away With Murder returns in ABC on September 24 with its lead episode, "It'sTime To Move On". Annalise would try to get over the murder of her client Rebecca and her husband but the "Keating Five" wouldn't stop till they found out leads about Rebecca's disapperance.
