Will Sean Bean survive as Ares in Wonder Woman movie? Eva Green also eyed as Circe

By

Wonder Woman is scheduled to release her standalone movie by 23 June 2017, and two actors are hotly rumored to be the main villains of the movie. Eva Green is eyed to play Circe the sorceress, while Sean Bean is possibly up for the role of Ares. Fans now tease if Bean would survive should he play the God of War, given the grim history of how his characters always end.

Being first to break the possible casting, Heroic Hollywood, reported that the casting for Wonder Woman is happening and Warner Bros. sees Sean Bean and Eva Green as good match for Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman. Having worked with the studio before, the two actors are good choices for the studio.

With the onset of this news, fans have expressed mainly support for this fantastic duo. As Screen Rant wrote, Bean is a fan-favorite, with The Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones just some of his memorable pieces. He has also worked with Warner Bros. for Troy and Jupiter Ascending

Fans have even teased about Bean's history of playing characters that are killed off. If cast, will Bean's Ares come out alive at the end of the Wonder Woman film? Regardless, fans agree that Sean Bean has played his roles very well and would fit Ares as he has so much experience in fantasy epics.

Eva Green is also not to be trifled with. According to Cinema Blend her villainous Artemesia was one of the highlights of 300: Rise of an Empire and if Warner Bros. cast her for the sorceress Circe, it is easily seen why.

Should Sean Bean and Eva Green be finally confirmed for a deal, they will be joining Wonder Woman Gal Gadot and her love interest Steve Trevor played by Chris Pine. More news will come as the production of the movie is set to start this November in London. Whether Sean Bean will play Ares and Eva Green will play Circe will be known in the coming months.
