A new trailer has been released for "The Flash" Season 2 and it seems that new worlds will be discovered and new characters will be met by the stars of the series. It has also been reported that the romance between Barry and Patty will be featured in the show's upcoming episodes.
According to MNR Daily, Atom Smasher, played by Adam "Edge" Copeland of WWE and Jay Garrick, played by Teddy Sears, will be featured in season 2 of "The Flash." Earth 2 is also seen in the newly-released trailer and it will be explored by the characters in the show.
In the extended trailer, Jay Garrick is seen warning the people at the S.T.A.R. lab of the impending danger. Garrick is the original Golden Age Flash and has been noted as the mysterious figure who arrives in Central City. Barry has opened a bridge between worlds and Garrick will be there to guide him and the rest of the gang as a portal has opened atop Central City.
As for the romance between Barry and Patty, Fashion & Style reported that Patty is the young cop determined to help the foster father of Barry in fighting metahumans. She has no powers of her own and it remains unknown as to how she will react if she discovers Barry as The Flash.
Meanwhile, Design & Trend reported that "The Flash" executive producer Andrew Kriesberg talked about what the characters of the series will be experiencing in the upcoming season. He teased that a huge possibility of Ronnie dying could happen as he will have to sacrifice himself for his wife and his friends. Other new characters in the season are Kid Flash, Wally West, and Zoom.
"The Flash" Season 2 will see more worlds and more characters to be introduced to Barry by Jay Garrick. The two will be helping each other to save Central City. The series comes back this October 6 for its second season on The CW.
