As announced, Samsung's 2013 flagship phablet, Galaxy Note 3 (SM- N9005) LTE model, gets a new updated version of Temasek custom ROM. The new custom ROM is based on the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system.
According to Team Android, Temasek Android 5.1.1 Lollipop is a fast, stable, smooth operating system based on CM 12.1 and provides stock vanilla Android experience. All the animations and launcher is stock. The most recent Android Lollipop brings top-notch performance and stability on Samsung Galaxy Note 3. It is 277MB in size, which includes improved battery life, personalization options, and optimization features.
In order to understand more about the installation process, there are steps and tutorials provided by Team Android, which can be performed by any user. However, they won't be held responsible if the device is damaged or bricked.
The new custom ROM firmware has to be installed on Samsung Galaxy Note 3 only. If tried on other devices it might get bricked. To check the model number, simply go to the Settings, then click About Phone, and check the Model Number.
Thus, the installation should solely be done by a person who has enough knowledge on rooting Android handsets. All users are also advised to have installed USB drivers and more than 80% before starting the installation process.
Moreover, the custom ROM installation requires memory clearing of the user's smartphone. That is why the user needs to back up all data in its smartphone by installing Clockwork Mod Recovery or TWRP recovery first. It is also worth noting that the installation of Temasek Android 5.1.1 Lollipop makes the company warranty void and will no longer be liable to provide updates in future.
All Samsung Galaxy Note 3 users need to read and understand carefully all the tips and steps mentioned above. This is to make the installation process go smoothly and not encounter any issues along the way.
