"Elder Scrolls 6" is still not in the mind right now of Bethesda, as it is busy with its other game title "Fallout 4". But with the release still uncertain, fans of the franchise are on a discourse as to where the next installment would happen.
Bethesda is still busy and will be busier once "Fallout 4" launches in November. The developer had been honest enough to say that they will be giving their 100% to this action role-playing game. The studio is both behind these projects, but Bethesda is not about to divide its team so as to accommodate the other, mentioned in a Yibada report. And with patches, bug fixes, and expansions to come up for "Fallout 4", thus an "Elder Scrolls 6" release is still far-fetched.
With all these ruckus and uncertainty about the release for "Elder Scrolls 6", a lot of fans still can't help to inquire and make suggestions as to where the next installment should happen. The location of the game is seemingly still being debated upon, as to whether it would be in Elsweyr or Valenwood, according to a CrossMap report. The title is being talked about, also; choosing between "Argonia" or "Redguard" or simply "Skyrim 2". But "Redguard" might not be in the short list anymore, as there was a game called "The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard" already.
Recently, it was hinted from Pete Hines, Vice President for Marketing of Bethesda, that the next "Elder Scrolls" might be called "Skyrim 2". This would further belittle speculations that the next installment will not be a follow-up on Morrowind or Oblivion. Other fans of the series suggest that the story should revolve around Argonia or Black Marsh, but this remains yet to be seen and confirmed.
Gaming Bolt is also hyped about the next "Elder Scrolls" title to adopt that Black Marsh model. The reptilian race called Argonians inhabits the place. It had been known how Bethesda borrowed from current fantasy tropes in order to come up with "Skyrim" and other "Elder Scrolls" games before. This would undoubtedly bring out a brand new feel to the series, the report added.
When "Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim" was released in November 2011, it had sold 3.4 million copies in just two days. And in 2013, it had already reached 20 million copies. It's only apparent why fans of the franchise are pushing Bethesda to make another installment. Meanwhile, fans should make do with "Elder Scrolls Online" and might as well try out "Fallout 4" in November.
