‘Deadpool’ Movie: Producer Simon Kinberg In Awe Of Rough Cut; Sequel Possible

By

The "Deadpool" movie is already set for release on February 12, 2016 and producer Simon Kinberg is already talking about a possible sequel in the making. That is after he saw a rough cut of the film which he calls "fantastic." Just recently, the Merc with the mouth tried to connect with the kids with a photo of him reading a book from Judy Blume.

The main character is played by Ryan Reynolds in the "Deadpool' movie. He is in full swing of his support for a sequel, according to We Got This Covered. Producer Simon Kinberg says that he saw a rough cut of the feature film and described what he saw as "fantastic." He says they will commit to it being R-Rated. He also adds that the trailer has lived up to its expectations and it's just "darker, edgier and weirder in the best way...than any other movie of its genre."

The Collider shares Simon Kinberg's thoughts of making another "Deadpool' movie, although he says that 20th Century Fox still has to confirm a sequel. Simon hopes that the DP film will be the first of many, mainly because of the fact that it is coming from a "serialized source material." Both producers and Fox hope to be able to come up with a decision of a follow-up movie before the first film hits theaters.

Director Tim Miller has spilled a few beans on the possible show up of Cable if there will be a "Deadpool 2." Even if Kinberg would want to confirm it, he says that it's too early in the process to say if Cable is indeed going to be in the sequel.

In an effort to try to connect to the younger generation for the "Deadpool" movie, the Merc with a mouth shares a photo of him reading Judy Blume's "Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret." The photo also showed his sidekick Negasonic Teenage Warhead played by Brianna Hildebrand. The cast for the upcoming film include Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Gina Carao as Angel Dust, T.J. Miller as Weasel, among others.

Producer Simon Kinberg is hopeful that the "Deadpool" movie will exceed expectations as it riddles theaters on February 12, 2016. After seeing the rough cut of the motion picture, he and Fox are thinking about doing a sequel.
